An employee arrived at work to find the building had been broken into and ransacked.

The offices of Cumulus Media and Henderson Appraisals suffered extensive damage. One of the Chevy pickup trucks with the “94.9 Outlaw” wrap was also stolen from the property.

WFPD detectives received a tip from Crime Stoppers stating the suspect was 42-year-old Andrew Hays.

While Hays was in jail on other charges, detectives filed two building burglary charges against Hays related to the Cumulus Media and Henderson Appraisals burglaries.

Hays is currently in jail for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon; evading arrest and possession of a controlled substance. Detectives anticipate that more charges will be filed against Hays in the near future.

The financial estimate of damage to the building was not requested from the companies as it was not required for the filing of burglary charges.

Hays’ total obligations are $41,000.
